The survivors of the Greece boat disaster filed a lawsuit against the Greek government.

About 40 people survived the boat accident in June. The men alleged that the Greek authorities did not make serious efforts to save the people on board the sinking boat.

The victims said that Greek authorities failed to protect precious human lives and hundreds of people lost their lives.
The case against the Greek government was filed on Wednesday at the Naval Court of Piraeus, a port in the Greater Athens area.

The lawsuit sought an investigation into the June 14 boat accident in which nearly 750 people lost their lives.
The lawsuit accuses Greek authorities of failing to protect the lives of those on board, as the stricken boat was in the Greek search and rescue zone at the time of the sinking.

It should be remembered that after the accident, 82 bodies were recovered, 104 people were rescued and hundreds of people went missing.
